Game of the Week

The New Orleans Saints are on a roll right now winning the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings by five points and now this stunning win against the San Francisco 49ers by three points with a last minute field goal. This proves that the reigning champs are looking to defend their title and win back to back trophies at this year’s Super Bowl.
The Saints has lost their star running back Reggie Bush due to an injury he suffered in Monday’s victory game against the 49ers. He broke his right leg while recovering his fumbled punt with 6:58 left in the game. According to Coach Sean Payton, “Bush will have a cast on his lower right leg as his broken fibula heals. He is expected to be out about six weeks but could be back after only four if things go well.”
This injury affects the Saints offence greatly although in the past they have played well without Bush. Since he was drafted second overall in 2006, he has missed 12 games because of various injuries. The Saints are 8-4 in those games, and played one of their best games last season against the New England Patriots without him; they won 38-17.
We are yet to see what great games and surprises the Saints have in store for us but we’ll be watching especially this Sunday to see how they play against the Atlanta Falcons without Reggie Bush. Despite Bush suffering a broken leg in this game the Saints vs. the San Francisco 49ers is our game of the week check out these highlights.

  5. Well Dinessh I would advise you to check out the stats of the two teams that are facing each other. Also check out their previous games that season and also see how good they perform against each other. Then you pick which team you think will have the best chance of winning and how much points you think they are going to win by.
