Week 1 picks

Week one of the NFL season is finally here guys!! This week tends to be the hardest week for picks the games accurately because there are a lot of unknowns.  There were many offseason acquisitions and trades and week one we get to see how these changes work out for their respected teams.

Min @ NO - Features the reigning super bowl champs, the New Orleans Saints versus the Minnesota Vikings who welcome back Brett Farve.  The games take place in New Orleans which gives the Saints the upper hand because they have their home crowd.  We have the saints will win this game by six points because the Vikings are playing on the road without their star receiver Sidney Rice.

Cin @ NE - Features a revamped Cincinnati Bengals team who added depth the receiver position by adding Terrell Owens.  The Cincinnati Bengals will have an explosive offense which should help them this week.  The New England Patriots come into this season with basically the same team as last year which should help with the team’s chemistry.  We have the Patriots winning by seven points because they are at home and have won 20 straight home openers.

GB @ Phi - Erin Rogers takes his Green Bay Packers offence to Philadelphia to face Kevin Kolb and the Eagles.  Many experts have the Packers to will the super bowl this year.  Their offense ranks a top the NFL which will help them this week against Philly whose defence is weak.  We have the Packers are going to win by seven.

Dal @ Was - Donavan Mcnabb first game as quarterback of the Washington Redskins.  He is a huge improvement over their former signal caller and he should help this team big time.  This will be our upset pick of the week because Dallas is the favourite to win this game.  We think that the Redskins are going to win by three points at home.
